Spring Internship Opportunities-Apply by December 13

Build your resume with an internship this spring semester. A variety of wonderful last-minute opportunities are available to students from all majors.

Utah Muslim Civic League: A non-profit whose mission is to educate and empower the Muslim community with a focus on voter engagement. They are seeking an intern who can assist with social media, content writing, and assistance with strategic communications.

 Engage Global Story Telling: a newly formed non-profit with the purpose of creating digital educational materials about global issues. They are seeking an intern who can assist with marketing/advertising including website development, SEO management, social media creation and strategy, sales and business development, market analysis, etc.

 United Way of Salt Lake: a local non-profit which pursues lasting social change on issues like poverty, poor health, and educational achievement. They are seeking several interns:

  • COVID-19 Response Virtual Tutoring Coordinator – Spanish speaker preferred: Help run COVID-driven virtual tutoring opportunities, including a virtual math tutoring program and virtual reading tutoring program
  • Kindergarten Readiness: Participate in planning a multi-year preschool initiative based in Salt Lake County, researching and compiling the alignment of state programs and funding streams in early childhood education.
  • Community Engagement and Outreach: Organize, coordinate and conduct primary research (interviews, focus groups) with parents and community members to promote improved engagement with our work.

 All positions qualify for the Hope Corps Scholarship ($1,000 - $3,000) and students will earn 3-6 credits through their internship.
